IE 7 - One Year and Over 300 Million Served
By JoshPhillips on 30 November 2007
Over 300 Million users are now surfing the web using Internet Explorer 7 and Microsoft anticipates that number to eclipse IE 6 users shortly.
A very impressive task for one years time. To put it in perspective that means the IE team has reached more than 800,000 users a day, 34,000 an hour, 570 a minute, or 9.5 users every second of every day since last year.
At the end of his post on the IE blog Tony Chor, the IE Group Program Manager, hints a new news on the IE front in the coming weeks. I, for one, hope this means they will start sharing some real insight into the next generation of IE.
