How to improve Instant Search

The index used by Instant Search can be customized by the user at any time. You can remove locations or file types from the index in order to make Instant Search even faster or you can add even more locations or files types. Learn how you can configure the Windows Vista index to your liking.

Indexing doesn't work for me. The "Show all locations" button is grayed out. It goes through the motions but the Search field still says "Add to index". M/c delivered new April 2007 from Dell UK.
