Team Fortress 2 gets a flaming big update
First the “Meeeeedic” got new weapons; this time round it’s the Pyro.

I still haven’t got my Uber bone saw. I don’t think I ever will, to be honest. So to hear that another load of achievements - that I also won’t be able to get - have been released today, kind of bothers me.
What also bothers me is the fact that servers will, once again, be chock-full of Pyro-players desperately trying to get all their new achievements before anyone else.
What this means is that - as before, when the Medic achievements came out - teams will be rubbish again, until they get bored of it and start playing the characters they enjoy.
Still, Valve has done an excellent job once again. The achievements seem harder to get this time round, but - interestingly - the new weapons waiting to be unlocked look very tasty.

The first weapon to unlock looks like something borrowed from the set of Titanic. But it’ll be a lot more use than it was to that ship’s passengers; getting round the Pyro’s limited flame range, it’ll give you the ability to fire flares at your enemies then set them on fire.

A great pun name and an even greater weapon, the Backburner will allow you to deflect enemy rockets back towards them, and will even give you critical hits if you attack opposing players from behind.
Watching axe-wielding Pyros chase fleeing enemy players around maps was hilarious in the first instance, especially if they got a kill (which they usually did), but now it’ll be downright deadly with the third of the new weapons you can unlock, which will give you a critical hit each time you connect with someone’s head.
