Windows Vista Suprises Post #1/10

From now until Christmas Iwill be posting 'hidden' features that are in Windows Vista.
By joro959 on 03 December 2007

First up in my Christmas special is a new boot screen.

Click start orb and in the start search type systemconfig and press enter.

Click on the boot tab.

There should be an unchecked box in saying NoGUI, check this box.

Restart your computer and see the surprise.

After doing this and logging on Windows Defender detects this change and asks you to unblock the program.

Do this and click OK.

Oh c'mon...Everyone knows that trick :)..But every useful..I don't use this anymore as it took a bit longer to load my system. I have a boot time of 11 seconds with Vista Ultimate but with Vista Home Premium it's about 25 seconds..Don't ask why...Thanks for the post. No need to search for systemconfig just write msconfig
