Get ready for Glastonbury 2007
If you’re going to the best festival in the world, you better be prepared. We show you how

The festival season is finally upon us, and Glastonbury is undoubtedly the hottest ticket in town. Whether you’re a cherry popper or can’t stopper, there are some great web sites out there to help you get ready for a cracking weekend!
The most important pre-Glastonbury preparation is a good weather check, and to pack accordingly. Of course Windows Vista users can use their weather gadget for this, but other users can log on to BBC Weather for a five day forecast.
Staying with the theme of gadgets, there is an excellent Glastonbury plug in for Live.com with news, links, weather and even photos. If you use a Windows Live homepage simply add the gadget, and download Microsoft Silverlight to get an ultra-cool spinning orb of pictures from festivals past.
Simply use the 'Add gadget' function in Windows Vista to search for it, or head here, subscribe to the RSS Feed and then add it to your Windows Live page manually.
The only cause for Glastonbury concern, other than the weather, is getting to see all the bands, and making those difficult decisions. Will it be Arctic Monkeys or Fatboy Slim? The Who or Chemical Brothers? What about Coldcut?
Make sure you’ve got the heads up on the clashes before you go by checking out the full line up at Q Magazine.
Just in case you had forgotten what the fields of Glastonbury look like, or want to get a decent ‘before the mud comes’ shot, then head over to the BBC’s Pyramid Stage webcam. The sight of the mighty pyramid should be enough to get you salivating before gates open on Wednesday.
If you’re going to Glastonbury 2007 good luck, play safe, and don’t forget to pack your boots.
Happy camping.
