On the subject of recycling, I would like to tell people about a service called Freecycle. Its a worldwide organisation set up to cut down on landfill waste. www.freecycle.org You sign up to a Freecycle yahoo group in your area and just put up stuff you dont want on the noticeboard. It has to be for free and the taker collects. If anyone has any old computers they wish to get rid of they could give them away to charities or offer them up for free to people in their area. Wouldnt it be great to give a poor local family a PC?? I have been using freecycle for ages now. I have given away stuff but amongst other things I have received a new 3 piece suite and a washing machine. Its a fantastic service and also it saves a trip to the local dump.
