Microsoft discovers what makes time travel possible
Who says Microsoft doesn't have a sense of humour?
By chris on 08 June 2007
Coming straight out of the bizarre category, Microsoft's 15th annual TechEd 2007 conference was kicked off today by the appearance of one Doctor Emmett Brown, the creator of the flux capacitor, which is what makes time travel possible.
Or for those who live outside the movies, actor Christopher Lloyd from the Back to the Future series.
Mocking Microsoft's reliance on turning keynotes into idealistic and improbably 'Visions of the Future', the stunt highlighted Microsoft's growing self-awareness and more humbly, their self-deprecation. Thankfully, Neowin recorded it and uploaded it to YouTube, for all to see.
One does wonder, though, if Microsoft have access to time travel technology, why they didn't go back and buy Google.
