XP is like an old shoe, worn-in, cozy, comfortable, which no one wants to discard ... yet ! Over a period of time, (what 6 years?), its been patched, patched and patched to make it what it is today ! Dependable !! And Vista, like a new shoe is biting some . . .

Ironically,I came across some old computer magazines today; all articles relating to XP.Switch the word and insert Vista and the article could be written for the new O.S.Generally speaking,we humans have an inherent dislike for change,whether good or bad.Personally,I liked XP and now I am still awed by Vista.Only change I would not like,is MS thinking that seniors may like having an OS geared to my age group.That would be backward thinking.

I agree in all with this post. Come on people, move to the new. World needs to move, everything changes and Vista is the present, it´s very good and it´s fun. Don´t believe all the stupid things they write on the internet.

After using Vista since the day it was released, I finally put XP Pro back, I did the same with my laptop. What a relief, finally everything works again.I'm sure Vista will be great once the hardware and software developers catch up. Too bad none of them knew Vista was coming.

Yup, it's not like they had a year to write drivers and updates to make their hardware and software compatible ;-)
