Microsoft has released a public beta of its much anticipated Office Live service.
The service allows users to register a unique domain name in order to post Office files which can be worked on remotely from any location.
The service is the latest in a long line of what Microsoft describe as ‘software + services’, which is designed to liberate existing programs from the desktop, and allow more versatility while working.
The Office Live service will enable you to:
· Work remotely
· Share files
· Create a custom web page
· Get up to 25 email accounts
· Buy advertising
You can sign up absolutely free at http://www.officelive.com and have your web site live within minutes.
