Is this the greatest web site ever?
Forget YouTube – learn how to date women, create a burning laser and hit the perfect golf shot, all from one site

If there is one web site you need to check out this month, it’s VideoJug, the site that’s trying to accumulate 100 years of wisdom into a single social-networking site.
The easiest way to explain VideoJug is by comparing it to YouTube. There are thousands of videos which show you every skill required for life in today’s society. The videos are categorised under the headings of Food and Drink, Love and Sex, Beauty and Style, Sports and Fitness, and even Health, Parenting and Pets.
Each category is filled with videos showing how to burp a baby or how to perform a striptease. While many of the videos have questionable themes, they are never in bad taste, and are a masterstroke of subtlety and innuendo.
The main difference between VideoJug and YouTube is that VideoJug doesn't allow user-generated content and videos are carefully selected, which means there are no videos of cats on skateboards or dull video diaries by people with nothing to say.
Despite there being scores of American videos, the site launched in 2006 in London, and now has offices all over the world. Each video placed on the site is carefully researched, and despite the limited nature of what can be uploaded, there is a thriving community. Users can comment on videos, vote on them in the same way as they can on YouTube, and there is an in-depth forum where people ask for help on a variety of issues.
