Where can I find Windows Vista compatible drivers?

Published on 24 January 2007

Check with your hardware manufacturer’s web site for the latest drivers for your hardware - look in the Support or Downloads section for Windows Vista drivers, then follow the instructions to download and install them on your PC.

Did this. No drivers for Buffalo products - PCI wireless card etc. So cannot get online to register and update Vista etc. Ditto for SB Live. Ditto Logitech Mouse & Keyboard. ATI Radeon update ready. Writing this on another PC. Not very impressed with those companies for not being ready and have told them so (except ATI). Software not much better - Norton Ghost 10 doesn't work so cannot reload my Windows XP I put on external drive. They don't know when an update might be out. fraserthompson in a very wet Kent

It`s a tad tricky to get online help and even to activate windows when the software provided by your ISP is not recognised by Vista. Because I cannot get online I am in a world of pain. No other software runs without Vista online updates and so the viscious cycle continues.......

i have various hardware and software items that will not run under vista. nor is there any drivers found on the various individual company sites that will help. so i have especially a useless epson scanner. after speaking to a so called shop engineer who only gave me half of what vista could do the good half, and never mentioned all the bad bits. to me vista under the parlance of the sale of goods act is not fit for purpose.

Nope. Seems HP likes not having non-compatibl drivers for Vista. Both the 1600 Media Drive they recommended & the All-in-One Photosmart C3180, do no have compatible drivers thatt won't keep reistalling or uninstalling!

Did you look here they have a fix for the uninstall problem with the printer

as for the 1600 Media Drive only has drivers for XP and thy should work if you are using Vista 32bit, only the HP HD1600s Personal Media Drive has Vista drivers available.
