How do I move the Documents folder to another location or hard drive?
Published

The Documents folder in Windows Vista replaces the My Documents folder from previous versions of Windows. To move the folder from the default location right-click on the Start button and then select Explore. Expand the Users folder (this will be named after your Windows log on name) and right-click on the Documents folder and select Properties. Click on the Location tab and then enter the new location for the Documents folder. Once you have done that, click Move and then OK.
