Improve Microsoft Office 2003 in Windows Vista with the new SP3!
By chris on Tuesday, September 18, 2007
Good news for those who are still using Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows Vista; Microsoft has announced that the third service pack for the office suite will be available for download today.
Coming in at a reasonable 120mb (or approximately 140mb if you require additional languages included), SP3 is designed to bridge the compatibility gap between Office 2003 and Office 2007. Beyond this, 450 flaws in the functionality of Office 2003 have also been addressed, including an overhaul of the fast save functionality that retires the multiple save system and merely saves any changes made to the original file, which limits the number of temporary files created on your hard drive and consequently improves security.
So if you have a copy of Office 2003, there's really no reason not to download it. Simply go to the
Microsoft Office website and click on Check for updates to get your copy of SP3.
