Help - BBC radio gadget no longer produces output in spite of transitioning. Have installed new version 1.0.10 with no luck. any ideas ??? Also tried newer version with no luck. Version shows radio programmer now and next but still no sound. Sound card working and volume set to full.

Could you try it again as its working for me in 1.0 and v2 of the gadget(Not out yet)

thanks for the reply - managed to get sidescreen to work showing now and next but still no sound. will try third download and see what happens.

no - sidescreen working all of the time now but still no sound. will keep trying as thisis an ace feature !

installed OK (version 1.0.20) but sadly still no sound. Thanks for trying.

its not the gadget then but windows itself if you open the Volume Mixer have a look what volume the gadget is set to

opening volume shows speakers, windows sounds, windows vista magazine (new since last version update) and BBC Radio Player Beta. All are set to full volume. The peculiar thing is that on first install player worked, since then no sound. Still manages to show now and next info fine. Sorry to take your time again. Jake

problem solved - by going back to first restore point and adding a new user account. Funny thing computers !
