Computer World has just published a comprehensive list of programs for Windows Vista that advanced O.S tweakers are sure to love. Obvious entries such as TweakVista and Vista Boot Logo Generator are included, but there's some real gems in there I hadn't heard of. Check out:
-
Vista Smoker Pro. A neat tool that helps optimise the speed and performance of Windows Vista, down to the smallest detail.
-
EasyBCD. A front-end to BCDEDit, the command line program that allows you to modify multiboot settings on those PCs with multiple operating systems.
-
Windows Mail Attachment Extractor for Vista. Handy attachment manager for Windows Mail, that saves a lot of time and effort if you receive a lot of files everyday through your email.
So if you're looking for a little more power over Windows Vista and want to see what it can truly do, have a look at the full list.
