Eric Geier over at Wi-Fi Planet has just posted some great tricks on how to simplify your wi-fi settings in Windows Vista. As many have stated, whilst Windows Vista is great for the average computer user, more advanced users find its extra security features slightly restrictive.

To help, Eric has written a guide on how to access advanced network settings in Windows Vista with ease. If you miss the network icon on your desktop, want quick access to network connections or can't get used to 'My Network Places' being simply called 'Network', then check out his guide on how to change them.

Great info article. Shame it wasn't around a few months ago when I setup my WiFi Home system. I didn't have any real problems with the task. The X-Box is great to use with the Media Centre. The Linksys Gateway is just so easy to work with. They have a terrific help line and their web assist is tops.
