VISTA SOUND to Broadcast: ONLINE CHAT Audio Not Enabled

NEW VISTA User accustomed to XP and REALTEK Audio Engine.
By DJChoppercat on 16 April 2008

Hi from Wesley aka DJChoppercat:

HAVE installed the Realtek audio engine for VISTA, I believe. My choice for broadcasting sound when visiting any audio-enabled chat does not broadcast the sounds playing through my soundcard like it would in XP.

AM an online DJ and desperate to reclaim my position as such in several capacities including making REMIX videos, broadcasting live sets and more.

Sincerely,

DJChoppercat

It has taken nearly a week for me to take the audio engine with VISTA, add the REALTEK drivers and search frantically for the configuration that makes your PC soundcard broadcast the sounds playing through it at the moment. There is an UNSEEN option in the VISTA sound control panel, when you right click, it asks if you want to see DISABLED OBJECTS. This is where I finally found my sound card abilities for recording, streaming and broadcast.
