Windows Live Photo Gallery now supports Flickr upload
By James Stables on Thursday, October 18, 2007

Windows Live Photo Gallery is to include a new function which will enable you to upload your photos directly to Flickr.

The previous version integrated with Windows Live Spaces so users could post their photos online, but this new association with Flickr means that people will find it easier to make their photos look good, and get them noticed.

If you haven’t already upgraded to Windows Live Photo Gallery, the improvements reach much further than just easy uploading.

There are more colour fixes so that your snaps will look their best before letting the discerning Flickr community loose on them, and the black background ensures your photos look their best when you view them in Windows Vista.

To try out Windows Live Photo Gallery you can download it free from the Windows Live web site.

I think Windows Live Photo Gallery may be the best of the Windows Live family, and is well worth checking out. We have blogged about some of the other new features here: http://www.windowsvistamagazine.com/UK/05582469250351436014/how-to-make-great-panoramic-pictures-in-windows-live-photo-gallery.html
