Online storage seems to be the in-thing at the moment. Microsoft has its own storage solution in the form of Windows Live Skydrive, which offers 5GB of space. Sky offers 1GB of storage with its Store and Share service too, and
Offering its own take on the internet hard drive, Humyo is now offering a massive 30GB of free online storage space at www.humyo.com. It’s currently the most capacity you can get if you don’t want to pay for a bigger locker.
Humyo is very easy to use - when you want to upload files, you just drag and drop them from your local hard drive to the Internet Explorer window. Although Humyo isn’t specific, it would appear that there’s no limit on how much you can upload or download.
The majority of people will probably access Humyo from their PC, but you can also access it from your mobile phone, which is great for listening to MP3s or watching videos if you forgot to take them with you.
There’s only one catch with Humyo - you need to use it, otherwise your account will be deleted if you’re inactive for 90 days. Fortunately, Humyo will send you an email warning you before this happens, if it slips your mind.
