To get a different look on your PC, you can change the icons on your computer in just a few easy steps using Stardock IconPackager, and we’re going to show you how. Stardock IconPackager is a 30 day free trail so if you want to keep it, you need to pay $14.95 (about £7.30).

Step 1

Download the program from www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager.

Step 2

Double click the file you downloaded and install it to your hard drive.

Step 3

Open it by going to All Programs > Stardock > IconPackager.

Step 4

Right-click on one of the packages in the main screen area.

Step 5

Select Load from the drop-down menu and click on Apply in the bottom right-hand corner.

Step 6

To download new packages, click on View and in the drop-down menu, select Featured Package.

Step 7

In the box that opens, click on Get More Packages!

Step 8

In the Internet Explorer window that opens (www.wincustomize.com), select a new package, click on Download, and it will then be downloaded and automatically installed as a new package.

I used to use this package in Windows XP, but it was only a trial, is the new version still a trial?
