Search for certified devices with this new Windows Sidebar gadget
Check that the next product you’re buying has the Certified for Windows Vista or Works with Windows Vista logo without leaving your desktop

Brandon LeBlanc over at http://windowsvistablog.com recently mentioned that there was a new Windows Sidebar gadget available that allows you to search for products and check to see if they carry the Certified for Windows Vista or Works with Windows Vista logos.
To find something, first you select whether you want to search for products with the Certified for Windows Vista logo or the Works with Windows Vista logo.
Then you simply type in the exact name, and if it’s been certified by Microsoft, it will appear in the results window.
You can even search for things by brand name or type, so you could find all certified digital cameras, or products made by Philips.
Currently there are 4689 products listed, and you can download the Windows Sidebar gadget at http://gallery.live.com
